Sumantra GHOSH

Vice President, Project Management Office, The Nuclear Company

With decades of experience across design, fabrication and construction, Sumantra Ghosh serves as Vice President, Project Management Office for The Nuclear Company. Sumantra joined The Nuclear Company from TC Energy, where he led project execution for all initiatives within the Power and Energy Solutions division. His role focused on delivering hydrogen, SAF, and carbon capture and storage projects across North America. That position followed five years with a joint venture that developed a $3 billion project in Edmonton that saw him lead all aspects of development and execution for a polypropylene facility.

Sumantra also spent nearly six years with Canada’s North West Redwater Partnership that included direct oversight of $2.5 billion in projects with more than 1,500 workers at peak construction. His career began with the EPC firm Bantrel, where he served in engineering, off-site fabrication, and site leadership roles.

Sumantra holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Calgary, Alberta and an MBA from Queen’s University in Ontario.
