Olivier BARD

CEO, French Nuclear Industry Association (GIFEN)

Olivier Bard has been the CEO of the French Nuclear Industry Association (GIFEN) since November 2022.

Previously, he held a number of positions in France and abroad within the EDF Group in France and internationally, mostly in the nuclear new build projects.

From 2017 to 2022, he was Director of the French nuclear new build program during the development process that led to the proposal submitted to the Government by EDF with the rest of the nuclear industry.

An expert in major industrial projects, he has over 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry

He is a graduate of Centrale-Supéléc (Master of Engineering) and INSEAD (Global Executive MBA).
